Client Service Agreement

WHERE A HEALTHIER HOME BEGINS

Welcome to ClenDwell! We believe that understanding your home’s environment is an important step toward creating a healthier, more comfortable place to live. This Client Service Agreement explains what you can expect from your Healthy Home Assessment, the limitations of our services, and the responsibilities of both ClenDwell and our clients. Please read this agreement carefully before scheduling your assessment.

1. Our Services

ClenDwell provides educational healthy home consulting services designed to help homeowners better understand their living environments and identify practical opportunities for improvement.

Our Healthy Home Assessment includes visual observations, selected environmental screening measurements, and personalized recommendations related to indoor air, moisture, water, everyday household exposures, sleep environments, lighting, and other areas of the home.

Our services are educational and consultative in nature. ClenDwell is not a licensed home inspection company, environmental testing laboratory, engineering firm, or medical practice.

Our assessment does not evaluate structural integrity, building code compliance, or the overall safety of your home. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions or provide individualized medical advice.

2. What Your Assessment Includes

Your Healthy Home Assessment typically includes a 90 to 120-minute visit, during which we observe accessible areas of your home and use selected environmental screening instruments.

With your permission, we may photograph relevant conditions to document observations and prepare your report.

Following your visit, you will receive a personalized written report with observations, prioritized recommendations, educational resources, and a practical action plan. A 15-minute follow-up consultation is included.

Your report may include overall and category scores to help organize observations and prioritize practical improvements. These scores are educational tools—not medical risk assessments, safety ratings, or certifications that your home meets a health or environmental standard.

Important limitations: Our assessment is noninvasive and does not include mold identification or sampling, laboratory testing, asbestos or lead testing, radon testing, or professional inspections of building systems.

Environmental screening measurements reflect conditions at specific locations and times. They cannot identify every hazard or establish that a home is safe, healthy, or free of contaminants.

Our reports are intended for personal educational use, not real estate transactions, property valuations, or third-party safety determinations.

When additional evaluation is appropriate, we may recommend a qualified professional.

3. Payment and Booking

Assessment pricing is based on home size:

Up to 2,000 sq. ft.: $495
2,001 to 3,000 sq. ft.: $595
3,001 to 4,000 sq. ft.: $695
4,001 to 5,000 sq. ft.: $795
5,001 to 6,000 sq. ft.: $895

Homes larger than 6,000 square feet require a custom quote.

Additional travel fees may apply outside our standard service area. Any applicable fee will be disclosed before your appointment is confirmed.

Payment is due at the time of online booking.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice incur no fee. If you cancel, you will receive a full refund.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice are subject to a $100 fee. Missed appointments without notice are subject to a $150 no-show fee. These fees are alternatives, not cumulative charges for the same appointment.

For prepaid cancellations or missed appointments, the applicable cancellation or no-show fee will be deducted from your payment, and the remaining balance refunded. If ClenDwell has traveled to your property and you are unavailable or do not provide access at the scheduled appointment time without prior notice, any additional travel fee charged for locations outside our standard service area will also be retained.

For late rescheduling, your assessment payment will be transferred to the new appointment, with the $100 rescheduling fee payable before confirmation.

If ClenDwell cancels your appointment, you may choose to reschedule at no additional charge or receive a full refund, including any prepaid travel fee.

We may waive fees for emergencies, illness, or severe weather at our discretion. Please contact us as soon as possible if these circumstances affect your appointment.

If an assessment cannot begin or must stop early because conditions appear unsafe, you will be charged only for work completed. We will explain any amount retained and refund the unused portion of your payment. Alternatively, you may choose to apply that unused portion toward completing the assessment once the concern is resolved, subject to availability. No cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show fee will apply solely because the visit was stopped for safety reasons.

5. Your Responsibilities

To help us provide an effective assessment, please provide accurate information about your home, allow reasonable access to areas being assessed, secure pets when necessary, and notify us of known hazards or access concerns.

You confirm that you are authorized to arrange the assessment and permit access to the areas being assessed. If you rent the home, please obtain any permission required by your lease or property owner. You or another authorized adult age 18 or older must be present throughout the visit.

There is no need to clean or prepare your home specially. We want to understand how it functions in everyday life.

You are responsible for deciding whether to implement recommendations and for selecting any contractors, products, or professional services.

ClenDwell may decline to enter an area or pause or end the visit if conditions appear unsafe. If we observe an apparent urgent concern, we will alert you and recommend contacting emergency services, your utility, or an appropriately qualified professional, as appropriate. This does not mean that all hazards have been identified; the assessment is not a comprehensive safety inspection.

Recommendations are educational and do not guarantee specific environmental improvements, health outcomes, or results. Third-party products and services are provided independently, and ClenDwell does not guarantee their performance.

ClenDwell does not receive referral fees, affiliate commissions, or other compensation from the professionals or product providers we recommend.

6. Limitations of Liability

ClenDwell provides observations, screening information, and recommendations based on conditions present and information available during your assessment.

Environmental conditions may change, screening instruments have limitations, and no assessment can identify every potential concern.

ClenDwell does not guarantee that a home is free of environmental hazards or that following recommendations will produce particular results.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information and assessment records in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Information and photographs collected during your assessment are used to provide services, prepare reports, communicate with you, and maintain business records.

ClenDwell may use software and AI-assisted tools to organize observations and help prepare educational reports. Final recommendations

are reviewed by your consultant.

We may share information with service providers as necessary to deliver our services or when required by law. We will not use identifiable photographs of your home for public marketing without separate permission.

8. Agreement and Acknowledgment

By checking the acknowledgment box during booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to this Client Service Agreement and acknowledge the following:

You understand that ClenDwell’s observations and environmental screening measurements have limitations and that additional evaluation by a qualified professional may be necessary.
You agree to the applicable home-size pricing tier, any disclosed travel fee, and the payment, cancellation, and rescheduling terms.
You have reviewed the Privacy Policy.
You understand that you decide whether to implement recommendations and that specific environmental improvements or health outcomes are not guaranteed.
